The Avengers ... and then a little bit more!

With the release of The Avengers (or Marvel's Avengers Assemble, depending where you're reading this!) an instant hit was born, rocketing the film to #3 in the all-time ticket sales charts, but Marvel and Disney are not content with resting on their laurels, hence the rumour currently doing the rounds in the webisphere.

Now, as yet, this hasn't been confirmed but rumour has it that, towards the end of the year, we may very well be expecting a directors release of The Avengers with anything over an extra 35 minutes of new footage!

Knowing that millions have already coughed up a pretty penny to watch this film the first time round, the question is, would you pay a second time round to watch The Avengers Extra? The answer surely has to be a 'You bet your sweet cahoonas I would!' So would almost everyone else. This genius move by the MarvelDisney monster would boost this film way above and beyond the films sitting in #'s 2 and 1 spots, making this the highest grossing movie EVER.

Now there's something to shout about!
